Bangkoks Mexican Gangsters

Thai gangsters are an example of cultural appropriation of another subculture with the case of the Mexican gangsters. Thai men, especially from Bangkok, are identify as Mexican gangsters. It is a trend that have assume more of the thai men because of the style of mexicans gangster to wear their clothes and to use their tattoos and hairstyle. The thing behind this  style of life addopted by the Thai men is that they dont know about the brutal violence that goes around the meanning of a real latin gangster. Thai men are like common people during all their single days but, when the night is startting,  they change their appereance in order to look like a gangster and to be part of a group. We all should know the behaviors and all the caracteristics of a new culture to avoid pass as inocents and make things without foundaments. 

Racism against AfroColombians

Nowadays, it is hard to know that there are a lot of cases of racism around the world, especially in Colombia. Colombia is a country with a big number of black people that most of them are poor. It is not a secret that the key to finish the poverty is the education. Sadly in Colombia, with a high number of black people, just a few group of them have access to this system. In this order of ideas, how we pretend to achieve an economic and social development if we are not investing on the basis that is the education and we are segregating the black people, considered the minority and of course they are not, and murdering their dreams?, that is the question.

Introducing myself

My name is Jose David Quintero Davila. I am studing Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Norte. I like to practice sports, specially soccer. Also, I like music. I play the percussion and some other instruments. I would like to travel around the world and learn about different cultures.
